The Buzz 100.5 FM (Barbara)
These past few weeks have gone by so fast, but they have also been some of the most memorable. I remember the first day of my internship. My hands were sweaty, my heart was beating faster than usual. My guess was that this was a mixture of anxiousness and excitement. I was to meet my sponsor, a PKY alumni. This was no ordinary first day on the job because the job was actually on location. A remote at the UF Bookstore was a promotion for the Buzz 100.5 and the bookstore. It was the first day of class for UF students as well, so you can imagine how hectic everything was.
Ironically, my second time interning was at the office or the actual radio station. My job was to clean and organize the office. A lot of the new promotion materials arrived and were dispersed everywhere. My sponsor is the promotions manager and the office was an enlarged version of what I can only imagine is the 'prize box'.
